From the table
How Wizards Codex actually works today — the DM web app, campaigns, and the systems we support.
-
Run initiative from the web
The DM web app gives you a dedicated screen for initiative, combat and session notes — in sync with the party’s phones, in the same subscription.
-
D&D 5E and Roll for Shoes — in one companion
Wizards Codex is a tabletop RPG companion, not a D&D-only app. 5E (2014 and 2024) and Roll for Shoes are live; more systems are on the way.
-
Invite the party with a code
Create a campaign, share an invite, and the table joins with their characters. HP, dice and initiative stay live across every screen.
